U16 Emerald

This season, we are fielding one U16 team for the summer.

The main focus for the U16 teams at Prism Volleyball Club is to improve fundamental skills and highlight the importance of playing together as a team. For this age level, serving and defense will be a priority as they are the basic skills all players should be comfortable with. Although we largely focus on the fundamentals, we still work on enhancing positional skills, giving players the opportunity to master those specific techniques.

Additionally, we try to place emphasis on good communication on the court as well as a player's ability to collaborate with others. These strengths contribute to one of our goals, which is to foster a positive team culture.

These teams will play in tournaments for at least 15-18 days and practice around 56-62 times during the season. Travel tournaments would be added or changed depending on the team's performance in the PSR Power League. Refer to the club handbook for details.
